TerraForce is published by Figelys.
A French software studio that designs business applications and runs them over the long term. We do not sell a subscription to a generic product: we put a management tool into service and we keep it alive.
It was not written for a demonstration.
The foundation of TerraForce (customer records, projects, quotations, invoices, service tickets, stock, scheduling, field agents, permissions and settings) is code we have been developing and maintaining for years. It has been corrected by real use rather than by a specification document: that is the difference between software that has lived and software that has been specified.
TerraForce is that foundation with telecom field work grafted onto it: geolocated sites and access instructions, contractual deadlines that pause, procedure sets with critical points, a work order signed on site, field mode, and the memory of past interventions.
What that means for you. You are not funding the writing of software from a blank page. The most expensive and most risky parts (accounts, permissions, reference data, documents, backups, version upgrades) are written and proven. What is specific to you is the configuration and the trade, and that is where the project’s time goes.
Four commitments, held in the code.
A narrow, finished scope
We would rather have ten modules that work than thirty screens skimmed over. When a need falls outside the scope, we write it properly or we do not write it.
No outside dependency to run
No third-party service in the critical path, no interface key that expires, no usage-metered quota on a link that gets passed around.
Your data is yours, entirely
A database dedicated to your company, hosting in Europe by default, export at any time, no exit fee. We build nothing on lock-in.
Discretion about our customers
You will find no customer name, no logo and no case study on this site. Our customers run sensitive infrastructure; their sites and their incidents are not our sales material. You will get the same treatment.
You will know who you are talking to.
A publisher at a distance means nothing until you know who picks up. Here is the person who answers when you write.
Moché Ghidalia
Founder of Figelys
TerraForce did not come out of a market study. We had already written a field service platform: customer records, quotations, invoices, service tickets, stock, scheduling, permissions. It had everything, except what makes a telecom network specific.
What was missing was geolocated sites with their access instructions, contractual deadlines that pause when you are waiting on somebody else, procedure sets with critical points, the work order signed at the foot of the tower, and a field mode that holds up on a phone three hours down a track. That is what TerraForce adds to the foundation.
Because the constraints are harder there, and rarely taken seriously.
The field service software sold into this market is almost always built elsewhere, for dense networks and fast connections, then translated. It falls over at the first site three hours down a track on a 200 kbit/s mobile link.
We went the other way: the constraints of the field (the network, the distance, the phone, the proof to be signed on site, the spread across countries) are the starting point of the design, not an adaptation made afterwards. What that changes, in practice.
Talk to us
The best way to judge us is to have us open the platform on your own cases. An hour is enough to know whether it concerns you.
